Xu Miaoran and the others were aghast to hear that there would be more to come.
Seeing how horrified they were, Tang Jie decided to not say the second part of his sentence: “and they will become harder and harder to deal with.” Changing his tone, he said, “Don’t worry. I held out once, so I’ll naturally be able to hold out in the future.”
