Tang Jie immediately flew onto the ship and said, “Saros, what are you doing? Who let you participate in this kind of battle?”
His orders before leaving were to have Saros gather up ghost soldiers and attack the weaker ghost ships to save humans. But it seemed that Saros had defied his orders and participated in a battle against the human cultivators, so his anger was understandable.
All the ghosts were delighted at Tang Jie’s return.

Tang Jie then slowly said, “Out of consideration for your cultivation, I’ll let you go this one time. Don’t bother me again.”
He casually tossed the human cultivator away.
This human cultivator was considered strong among his fellow Celestial Heart cultivators, but he had been tossed away with ease. Stunned, he didn’t dare to make any more trouble for Tang Jie and hastily went to find another opponent. Saros was startled by the scene and how strong its master had become during this trip, which only made escaping from his grip even harder. Meanwhile, those two silly ghost generals were elated, dumbly grinning.
That human no longer made trouble for Tang Jie, but another ghost ship came over and did. It turned out that those two ghost generals belonged to this ghost ship, and its owner was very unhappy to see Tang Jie knocking around their subordinates.
A Ghost King barged over and shouted, “Where did this ghost come from, daring to attack my subordinates?”

The Ghost King nearly fainted from anger.

A whip made of bone flew toward Tang Jie’s head.
This whip consisted of linked vertebrae, and when it extended, it let out a shrill whistle. At the tip of the whip was a large skull from which black smoke poured out. As it flew through the air, it came alive and attempted to bite Tang Jie.
Tang Jie thrust out a finger, jabbing that skull, and there was a terrible scream as the skull burst apart and the vertebrae shattered into dust.
Tang Jie thrust out his finger again, and a golden grain fell into his hand.
“No!” The Ghost King howled when its beloved art relic was destroyed, and it attacked Tang Jie even more fiercely, summoning a black fog from which a giant ghost head emerged to devour Tang Jie. It seemed that this guy’s moves all involved biting.
Tang Jie didn’t mind, simply punching out, but hidden within that blast of power was the second form of the Evil Punishing Seal, the Soul Slayer. The ghost head howled upon taking this attack, and Tang Jie stepped forward and followed up with another Soul Slayer punch, and then another.
After three Soul Slayers, the ghost head exploded, but Tang Jie kept on punching, unleashing eighteen Soul Slayers in a row. Despite being a middle-tier Ghost King, the Ghost King couldn’t hold out against this salvo and was pushed all the way back to its ghost ship, its butt forced back onto its throne.
Shocked and enraged, it pointed at Tang Jie and ordered, “Kill him!”
This was the worst decision it could have made.
There were two armies on this battlefield, ghosts versus humans. It was time to put aside all personal grudges and unite against their common foe.
But this ghost had lost itself in its rage toward Tang Jie and given the order to attack, treating him as an enemy, causing discord within their own ranks. In truth, it was just shouting to vent its emotions and didn’t really mean it.
Unfortunately, it was dealing with Tang Jie, who was looking for such an excuse. “You were the one who attacked first,” he said with a smile.
He waved his hand and ordered, “Kill them!”
The ghosts on the Ghost March Ship disregarded the humans and turned to attack the other ghost ship.
The human cultivators had been losing ground and were somewhat dizzied by the turn of events.
Fortunately, a quick-witted human saw the situation and urgently said, “Forget about them and go and deal with the other ghosts.”

This roar was like thunder, and it gathered a torrent of lightning that surged toward Tang Jie.
Only a Ghost King of profound cultivation could gather such power.

This simple snort caused that raging wave of death energy to instantly dissolve.
The blue-faced Ghost King was stunned, and only now did his opponent finally release their aura, which was as deep as the sea, as lofty as a mountain!
“EMPEROR!!!” the blue-faced Ghost King cried out in terror.
Tang Chuan raised a finger. “Since you attacked me, I will return with a single finger. If you can take this blow, I will spare your life.”
He thrust his finger at the blue-faced Ghost King.
