“My Dear, can you check the quest if we have completed the quest?” I asked.
I was eager to know if we had completed the quest that would allow Cecilia to inherit the abilities of the Saint of Shield.
After all, it was a significant boost for her abilities and it’s adapt well to her saint powers.
Moreover, I personally wanted to see her grow stronger.
“We’re missing half of the Fragment”
As Cecilia checked the quest progress, her announcement that we were missing half of the Fragment was both a relief and a concern
“Oh! Maybe the other half is inside my storage. Let me take it all out real quick”
As I searched through my inventory, I hoped to find the missing Fragment of Barrier.
After a bit of rummaging, I finally discovered the other half.
Immediately, I gave the fragments to Cecilia whereupon receiving them, she had officially completed the Quest.
Unfortunately, because the quest was tallied for Cecilia, my skills were unfavorable at this moment.
Hence, the rewards did not multiplied.
Even so, just by receiving the rewards and half of the drops, she would without a doubt will grow into a terrifying force.

“So how are the rewards?” I questioned after waiting for a while.
I was curious about the rewards she had gained from the quest.
“Yeah, they’re not bad, moreover, I even received a Mysterious Box and I heard that it gives pretty good stuff,” She said
“Yeah. The Mysterious Box is a good reward, but its randomness is not necessarily a good outcome”
“Nevertheless, it’s rewards outweighs more than its disadvantages” I explained.
[:You have completed and collected the Fragment of Barrier, do you wish to unseal the barrier?:]
All of the sudden, Cecilia, turned to me with a furrowed brow, her voice tinged with uncertainty.
“Honey, would it be wise if we unseal the barrier?”
I had an idea what she was talking about and
it was evident that she was perplexed about the potential advantages of unsealing it.
Moreover, the risk of meddling with something she didn’t fully comprehend made her apprehensive.
I took a moment to contemplate her question before offering my perspective.
“Cecilia, I don’t think you should be worried about unsealing it” With a gentle tone, I addressed.
She looked at me and she waited for my words to continue and it was quite adorable.
“Look around us and see, there are no more monsters in this Outer Land, and it’s no longer inhabited by them”
Every monsters that lived in this outer land were all dead and cremated to ashes.
Hence, there was nothing for her to be worried about.
“It’s a free land now, and there might be a chance of opportunity.” I said.
“Opportunity?”
Cecilia tilted her head in questioning, clearly intrigued by the notion.
I elaborated on my thoughts, “There’s no telling how much prize or reward we’ll have if the sealing would be undone”
There’s no telling what kind of surprise does this world have for us.
For every small actions that we do, there might be a ripple effect that would affect part of the mission. .
“It’s like completing a hidden quest except we’re not sure who will be the one to reward us.” I explained.
Cecilia sought clarification, “Then should we unseal the barrier?”
I made my decision, “Let’s unseal the barrier, and even if we don’t receive anything, we’re content with the drops.”
I wasn’t fixated on the hidden reward, but I couldn’t help but wonder if there was indeed a concealed mission.
Reviving Bella Mother was my first experience in receiving and completing a hidden mission.
Because of that, I was concious about existence of hidden missions.
With her agreement, Cecilia nodded, saying, “Alright then. Unseal the Barrier.”
As she did, the sky and our surroundings began cracking like spider webs.
The resonance of shattering barriers echoed through the land, reaching as far as the eye could see.
As the last remnants of the barriers shattered like fragile mirrors, the Outer Land seamlessly reconnected with its original realm.
The enormity of the Outer Land, akin to a sprawling district, had now been made whole, and the impending implications of this rejoining were bound to cause a significant commotion.
But before any of that could transpire, Cecilia and I were privileged to witness a truly remarkable and almost surreal sight.
“Thank you for liberating us…” echoed the voices of countless Lost Souls that had been trapped within the barrier for what seemed like an eternity.
They emerged from beneath the ground in vast numbers, hovering in the air above us like ethereal apparitions.
It was a breathtaking spectacle.
“We will forever remember this kindness of yours…and please accept our gifts for giving salvation to us who were trapped for years,”
The souls harmonized in unison, their voices carrying a soothing, otherworldly quality.
It was a moment of profound gratitude and an unexpected reward for our actions.
The scene before us was undeniably surreal, as thousands of souls delivered their profound gratitude to Cecilia and me.
Their ethereal presence filled the air with an otherworldly aura, and their expressions of thanks were humbling and deeply moving.
After their heartfelt expressions of gratitude, these liberated souls slowly ascended, vanishing into the unknown.

“It’s beautiful…” Cecilia muttered as she watched the souls fluttering and floating in a realm above them.
Witnessing such sight, she interlock our fingers and I gaze at the sight she was looking.
Cecilia had no idea, but I know where those souls had went and it was not the heaven that anyone was imagining.
It’s a place that’s better than hell, but not a place that one might believed to be haven or a place to ‘rest’.
But at this moment, I didn’t want say another word and let Cecilia enjoy the sight.
It’s far too early to think about a future where it might take hundreds of years to progress.

She teased, a playful smile on her lips.
In just a few seconds, we vanished from the Outer Land, reappearing in one of the bustling cities in the Main District, ready to enjoy our long-awaited date.
