Listening to the anger and self-blame in Tony’s voice, Natasha stepped forward to comfort him: “This isn’t your fault, Tony. The most important thing now is to rescue Pepper.”
“By the way, do You-Know-Who kidnapped Pepper?”
Facing Natasha’s inquiry, Tony Stark shook his head.
“Once there’s news, I’ll personally lead people to rescue Pepper.”
Steve Rogers, who was nearby, also offered a word of comfort.
While everyone was comforting Tony, Lynn’s phone suddenly rang.
He picked up the phone and looked at it, finding it was an unknown number.
Walking aside to answer the phone, he heard an old voice say: “Pepper is currently in our hands, Mr. Lynn Hall. If you don’t want to see Ms. Pepper get hurt, and don’t want your friend Tony Stark to lose his girlfriend.”
“Then bring what Frank Castle took from us, and meet us tonight on Staten Island!”
