Chapter 47: Obadiah Stane’s Criminal Evidence
Back in his office, Lynn pondered James Duke’s recent words.
The sixth of next month was the engagement ceremony between Jessica and Andrew Wayne, the son of one of the nine Supreme Court Justices.
According to Duke, after the engagement ceremony that day, he would be taken to meet all the members of the Brotherhood.
So, was this finally their preparation to officially recruit him into HYDRA?
If so, what kind of “emotion” should he display?
First, shock, then panic after anger? Or perhaps a sense of helplessness after being forced onto the pirate ship?
Regardless of the expression, he had to perform it just right.
Facing a group of old foxes, if his expression was even slightly off, he would likely reveal himself.
As Lynn Hall was contemplating, Barbara, dressed in a white shirt and a hip-skirt, walked in.
“Boss, would you like a cup of coffee?”
Looking at her slender, beautiful legs encased in black stockings, Lynn Hall said, “Who picked out that outfit for you?”
“And, wasn’t your hair red? Why did you dye it blonde?”
“Gwen’s hair is blonde, isn’t it? And Boss, don’t you like it?”
Flipping her newly dyed blonde hair, Barbara leaned closer to Lynn and smiled, “And Alice told me that your favorite is black stockings and beautiful legs!”
Lynn shook his head and chuckled, looking at Barbara, who was deliberately showing off her assets, “Tsk, you’re trying to seduce your boss!”
“Yes, I am, so what?”
Without hiding her intentions, Barbara directly sat on Lynn Hall’s lap, “Why worry so much when you meet someone you like?”
“Boss, do you know how pitiful a nineteen-year-old girl is who hasn’t even held hands or kissed a man?”
“Other girls enjoyed love in high school, or even middle school, but what about me? Because of my Mutant identity, I had to be careful every day, and I had to keep my distance from others when I was studying!”
“If I weren’t pretty, it would be fine, but many people pursue me, and I don’t dare to interact with them!”
Wrapping her arms around Lynn Hall’s neck, Barbara chuckled, “Anyway, now that you’re protecting me, I’m going to freely enjoy the youth I’ve missed!”

He let out a long breath, picked up the remote control, and turned on the television hanging on the wall.
On the TV, Tony Stark was currently being interviewed by a large group of media.
Everyone was curious about what he meant by that mechanical prosthesis.
At this moment, Tony Stark was shining brightly in front of the camera, while Barbara, kneeling under the desk, seemed very awkward.
However, both Lynn and Tony Stark were very excited at this moment.
It wasn’t until his phone on the desk rang that Lynn reluctantly picked it up.

Watching Stark Industries’ stock soar, securities manager Daniel Whister excitedly said, “The value of the Stark Industries stock you purchased has now quadrupled, and it’s still rising.”
“Especially after Tony Stark accepted a TV interview and stated that the flying mechanical prosthesis was indeed made by him, the stock price soared even more… Mr. Hall.”
Mid-sentence, Daniel noticed a slight oddness in Lynn Hall’s voice from the other end of the phone.
Daniel Whister quickly said, “Mr. Hall, am I disturbing you?”
“It’s fine!”
Looking at the still awkward Barbara, Lynn opened a drawer, took out the popping candy Jessica had left there, and handed it to Barbara.
In her confused gaze, Lynn motioned for her to eat the popping candy, “Daniel, how many times has it increased specifically?”
“Currently, it’s seven times, Mr. Hall. I believe Stark Industries’ stock can at least increase thirteen to fifteen times!”
Hearing Lynn Hall suddenly gasp on the other end of the phone, Daniel was a bit surprised.
“Alright then, Daniel, you’re the professional. Just sell it when it reaches its peak!”
“Okay, Mr. Hall, then I won’t bother you any further!”
Hanging up the phone with a puzzled expression, Daniel scratched his head and continued to keep a close eye on the soaring stock.

Joy from the Information Department arrived outside Lynn’s office, and just as he was about to knock, he heard Barbara’s violent coughing from inside the office.
When he knocked and entered the office, he gave a strange look at Barbara, who was drinking water in large gulps.
He then placed a USB drive on Lynn’s desk, “Boss, I found what you asked me to hack into Obadiah Stane’s computer and investigate!”
“He indeed has connections with the Middle East armed forces who kidnapped Tony Stark, and he secretly funded them with weapons and a large amount of money.”
“Moreover, I also followed the clues and found out the details of Stark Industries’ weapons that Obadiah Stane has sold through private channels to various parts of the World over the years.”
“Boss, this guy not only sells weapons to the Middle East but also to places like Africa and Eastern Europe. I believe there might be certain forces behind him supporting him.”
“It’s very likely some people from Congress or the Military!”
Hearing Joy’s words, Lynn Hall picked up the USB drive, inserted it into the computer, and took a look.
Besides a few videos, there were also some detailed lists, meticulously recording the names of various weapons sold and buyer information.
“Good work, Joy.”
“Boss, if you really think I worked hard, then promote me a level. Alice is already S14, and I’m only S12.”
