Leon let out a deep sigh, cleared a patch of snow near a tree, and sat down.
“Hah…” he exhaled again and closed his eyes, ready to fall asleep.
“Go, Puko! Kill that thing!”
Suddenly, a high-pitched voice shattered the morning quiet like glass.
“What the fuck is that noise? Why is someone always here so early in the goddamn morning?” Leon snapped, jumping to his feet and heading toward the voice.
It came from the other side of the forest.
He moved slowly, sneaking through the bushes.
It was a girl-maybe 18 years old -dressed in what could only be described as royal-tier clothing. Pink and white gown with floral patterns, white gloves, and a wand that showed how filthy rich she was.
A tiny summoned creature-puppy-sized but fat, clearly magical-stood in front of her.
She was ordering it to kill a one-horned rabbit that had been tied to a nail in the ground.
The rabbit looked half-dead, starving and barely moving.
She had white hair, black eyes, and… a body that was flat as a board.

Puko, if you don’t kill it, you’re not getting any food tonight! Or even tomorrow or day after tomorrow.” she growled, glaring at the trembling summon.
‘Royal brats getting easy kills to level up… why does this feel familiar?
Oh right. Ultra-privileged rich kids. Fucking classics from earth’ Leon thought, smirking and walking back to the oak tree.
He laid down and closed his eyes.
“Haa….. I’ll take a quick nap until the cooldown-“
“AHHHHH! He ran away! Catch it, Robert!”
The sharp, shrill scream cut through the air again.
“Fucking hell..” Leon groaned, opening one eye.
The one horned rabbit- that was supposed to be dead-was sprinting straight toward him.
“What the fuck? Why is it running at me?” Leon asked, baffled.
The rabbit collapsed unconscious right next to his leg.
“Fucking hell.” Leon spoke with an Irritated expression.
“Where is it ?!” Veronica shouted as she got closer.
“I-I’m still looking, ma’am!” the butler shouted in panic.
“Huh….? Who’s that? Why is he sleeping in the snow?” Veronica asked, noticing Leon sleeping peacefully under the tree.
“Oi! Commoner!” the butler shouted, running up to Leon with a serious expression.

“Hmm?” Leon cracked open his eye.
“Have you seen a weak horned rabbit running through here? It was lady Veronica’s property.” Robert asked, dead serious.
“Yeah, he ran that way. It was really skinny,” Leon said, pointing north before closing his eyes again.
“Ah! That must be him! You are not escaping today, bastard.” Robert shouted and bolted off.
“Commoner… What are you doing here at this hour? Don’t you have a house?” Veronica asked, walking up to Leon.
‘Ugh, I hate talking to flat-chested girls… but I’m not strong enough to start fight with a Seven-Star noble house yet;
Leon thought, cracking one eye open.
“Just sleeping,” he replied flatly and shut his eye again.
“You’re rude! Why aren’t you bowing to me?! Do you have any idea who I am?” she asked, offended and angry.
“But I’m already lying on the ground in front of you, Your Highness. That’s better than bowing, right?” Leon said without even flinching.
“But-This-What?” she stammered, completely thrown off and confused on what to say.
“Haa…. You know what? I’ll bow to you.
But people say that whoever I bow to, their chest gets smaller,” Leon added as he slowly got up and started to bow-
“Wait! Wait, wait! It’s alright!” Veronica shrieked, backing away fast.
‘Dumb bitch, Your father’s money can’t buy you Brains. Leon thought, hiding his grin.
“So… do you come here every-” Before she could’ve asked anything else, robert a interrupted her.
“Ma’am! I couldn’t find the rabbit. But it’s time for you to head to the academy, The carriage is about to come at any moment,” Robert said, appearing out of breath.
“Fine… let’s go. I don’t wanna be late on my first day, Veronica said, turning to leave.
As soon as they were out of sight, Leon looked up.
High above, hanging from a branch by an invisible mana thread was the unconscious rabbit dangled in the air.

He snapped his fingers and the mana thread vanished. The rabbit plopped to the snow.
“You’re one lucky one-horned rabbit.
If I didn’t want to get back at her for ruining my sleep… and if you weren’t too skinny to be breakfast, you would’ve been long dead by now, Leon muttered as the rabbit weakly limped away into the bushes. 1
“Take care, motherfucker. Come back stronger… so I can eat you in dinner,” Leon spoke with a smile.
As soon as he turned around, he noticed a screen floating in front of his face.
