“It’s a transformation potion… T-They tell me to make it using some unknown herb they get every month from some trader.
It helps them maintain their ears and human-like aura. So that, no one can sense it and identify—”
“It’s a fucking potion,” Leon cut in, his eyes widening. “Artifacts and illusion magic can be revealed easily to mages and even swordsmen.
That’s why they haven’t been caught even in a five star noble household—because they’re using potions to keep their appearance human-like.
Potions aren’t that easy to detect… They are fucking intelligent.” He spoke with a shocked expression as the realization hit him.

“Don’t worry. I’ll find your brother. Can you show me where you make the transformation potion for them?” Leon asked with a neutral expression.

Leon followed her, stepping into a concealed space. His eyes scanned the alchemy setup on a big wooden table—glass flasks filled with differently colored liquids burned over candle flames, and various herbs lay scattered across the surface. Vials of pure mana were set to one side, along with several empty ones.
“This is the potion that they use to transform,” Adeline said, holding up a green-colored vial.
Without wasting any time, Leon activated his skill.
