With his heart racing and his blood flow increased, Aksai’s vision was slightly blurred, a testament to the physical toll of his efforts. His clothing, soaked through with sweat, clung to his form.
Surrounded by the fluctuating aura of his Bronze Qi, Aksai appeared as if he had run for miles on end, his body pushed to its limits by the rigorous practice of Celestial Harmony.
Yet, despite his exhaustion, there was a sense of strength and vitality that radiated from him, his body honed into a sharp and fierce weapon by the hammering of his training.
“It seems to break into the Argent Body Realm is way harder than I had initially thought,” Aksai murmured to himself as he observed his own stats through the spectral screen. A frown had appeared on his face.
“It doesn’t look like I’d be able to break into the Argent Body Realm anytime soon with the way things are going,” Aksai kept his right hand over his heart and felt his heartbeats as he thought.
“What if the corrupted druid levels up before I do? No. I… I can’t let that happen. I still don’t know what kind of tricks the corrupted druid has.
I can not let him step into the Foundation building Realm at any cost,” Aksai’s frown grew even more intense as he thought of a grim possibility.
“Change of plans. Why not use the corrupted druid as a stepping stone to achieving a breakthrough into the 2nd body cultivation realm?”
Aksai thought to himself, becoming more sure of the idea with each passing second.
