“People here call us Players. Think of us as beings from another world who’ve come to this one,” Broken explained.
“Oh, like us… who came from Hell?” the kitten replied, tilting its head slightly.
“I’m surprised you know so much about this world but not about us, the players.”
The little kitten let out a long yawn. “I should form a contract with you, right?” it asked.
Broken nodded. “But you’re just hatched, right? It can wait.”
