Their coordinated assaults were beginning to show results. For the first time, they managed to land several hits on Gremory. This was largely thanks to Dendros, who occasionally disrupted Gremory’s movements, allowing both Broken and Marlene to deliver precise strikes, clearly inflicting damage on the demon.
Though the movement speed reduction from Broken’s Water Domain wasn’t massive, it was enough to slow Gremory down just enough for them to keep up with her otherwise blindingly fast movements. Attacks from three directions simultaneously began to corner Gremory.
Dendros, using his Moonvine Knuckles, continuously unleashed Vines of Torment, temporarily binding Gremory’s movements. Even a brief moment of immobilization was all Marlene and Broken needed to unleash a barrage of strikes.
The battle was incredibly tense, with the trio advancing and retreating in perfect rhythm, attacking in turn and closing off Gremory’s escape routes. The viewers could hardly believe their eyes-Broken’s summoned creatures were moving in perfect sync with the rest of the group, seamlessly fitting into the flow of the battle.

“I guess Marlene isn’t just relying on her looks to win the game-she’s actually incredibly skilled in battle too,” someone from the Ass Guild remarked.
“Khi khi khi,” Goldrich chuckled. “Who would’ve thought the girl who uses her appearance to charm others is actually talented too?”
“Yeah, and now she’s working hard to seduce Broken as well,” Maylock added with a smirk.
“It won’t work on him,” Freya cut in.
Elincia glanced over at Freya, raising an eyebrow. “Is that jealousy I hear?”
“Hell, no!” Freya snapped.
On the Shadow Wolves’ side, the comments flowed freely as they watched the battle unfold.
“Damn, this blacksmith asshole is stronger than I thought. If only we’d gotten him to join our guild,” someone grumbled.
Paul, sitting with his legs crossed and exuding confidence, nodded thoughtfully. “We just need Marlene to seduce him and get him to switch sides.”
“I heard Marlene’s already met him, hasn’t she?” another player remarked.
“Damn, there’s no way anyone can resist Marlene’s charm, hahaha.”
“Well, a guy like Broken, who’s only recently started tasting wealth, probably isn’t used to attention from women. He’d give anything for Marlene’s sweet talk.”
“But seriously, the way the two of them are fighting in perfect sync-it’s like they’ve been doing this together for ages. Can you even train for that kind of chemistry?”
“I think it’s because they’re under so much pressure. It’s pushing them to fight at their absolute best,” another person added, nodding in agreement.
The battle raged on intensely, with everything happening in rapid succession. Gremory was being relentlessly attacked by Broken and Marlene, while Charmelyn continued her assault on the Camel. Despite the chaos, the fight seemed more controlled now, though it was still unclear when-or if-it would end.
It was a fierce battle, tight and demanding intense concentration. Fortunately, they only had two opponents to face, so they didn’t need to split their focus too much, only dividing their strength between the two enemies.
One thing Broken found both challenging and intriguing was how they had to fight in perfect sync with the rest of the team. The call of when to push forward and when to fall back was crucial. But he enjoyed it.
“Broken, switch!” Marlene called out as she prepared to retreat and recharge. Broken stepped in, taking over the close-range fight.
In the House of Slumdon. “But didn’t you say Broken was going to pull something new, Maylock?” someone asked.
“He hasn’t shown anything different yet.”
“Yeah, and do you think this will be enough to defeat the demon?” another voice chimed in. “The fight still seems to be leaning slightly in the demon’s favor. I’m worried this might not end well.”
Everyone watched, tense with anticipation, knowing that one misstep could turn the battle’s tide.
Yes, Broken was fighting well, but on the other side, it was clear that Charmelyn, along with some of Broken’s summons, had managed to corner the camel, which could no longer put up much resistance. Charmelyn moved swiftly, striking from different angles, and for the first time, hope began to rise.
With one final, powerful slash, she severed the camel’s head.
“Is this a victory?” someone asked.
“No, there’s a second stage,” Maylock quickly corrected. “The camel will rise again. This isn’t over.”
“Damn, even after all these intense attacks, this isn’t the end? The demon hasn’t even reached its full strength yet? Damn!”
The demon camel rose again, its head reattaching as if nothing had happened, and it immediately unleashed a powerful roar. Now more aggressive, the camel struck the ground with devastating area attacks, its rage fueling a renewed assault.
At the same time, the buff it granted also empowered Gremory, who began wielding blood magic more effectively. She cast spikes of blood that shot out like bullets, striking from every direction. The relentless barrage left Marlene struggling to keep up-she was now forced to evade, unable to mount any effective counterattacks.
Charmelyn, on the other hand, managed to hold her ground, her high evasion allowing her to dodge most of the incoming attacks. Combined with the healing support from the Elder Dragon Tree, she stayed in the fight, even as her health dipped dangerously low.
As for Broken, he remained mostly unaffected, his Nature Healing skill from Gaia providing him with continuous regeneration, allowing him to withstand the onslaught without
faltering.
The tide of battle had shifted again, with the relentless second stage of the demon putting immense pressure on the team.
However, everyone watching could clearly see that the battle was far from over. Then, suddenly, something unexpected happened—the broadcast Marlene had been sharing with the Shadow Wolves cut off abruptly.
“Broken, as per our agreement, I’ve stopped the broadcast,” Marlene explained mid-battle.
Broken nodded, maintaining his focus on the fight. This had been discussed and agreed upon by the three of them. Since Broken’s side had more personnel, and the likelihood of revealing his most critical strategies was higher, Marlene had agreed to broadcast only part of the battle.
Now, with the broadcast halted, Broken could continue without fear of exposing certain secrets, especially to the Shadow Wolves.
Yes, there was something he had prepared-something he intended to keep hidden from most, even now. It was a trump card, one that it wouldn’t be fair to reveal fully, particularly with Shadow Wolves watching.

At that moment in the battle, Gremory’s speed increased dramatically, and Marlene began struggling to keep up. The blood magic she wielded sprayed wildly across the battlefield, putting immense pressure on the group as they found themselves increasingly cornered. Gremory clashed with Broken, who could barely hold her off, relying on his spear just to block her relentless strikes. He was completely unable to launch a counterattack. Then, as Gremory’s final blow aimed for Broken’s head, the demon’s hand stopped mid-strike, inches
from him.
A thick, glowing energy shield had formed around Broken, pushing Gremory back with incredible force. All eyes widened in shock as a massive figure appeared, joining the fray-a towering, black-colored creature with a massive gorilla-like head.
“Damn, the golem?! How is the golem there?” people in the Slumdon House exclaimed in
disbelief.
The tide of battle had just taken a sharp turn.
The astonishment of the viewers hadn’t ended yet. The chest of the golem opened up, and
gasps filled the room.
“Damn, is Broken going to get inside the golem and control it from within?” someone
speculated.
But no-that wasn’t what happened. Instead, a figure emerged from inside the golem’s chest,
jumping gracefully to the ground to stand beside Broken.
“Hi, Broken. I’m so glad to finally fight alongside you,” said the woman, clad in heavy silver
armor, her blonde hair flowing as she landed.
“Welcome to the party, Ivana,” Broken replied with a smirk.
